Religious Education
At Elm Tree we follow Discovery RE as our curriculum driver. We believe strongly that our pupils are offered a wide and diverse curriculum so that they can make informed opinions about religion and differences which allows them to show tolerance and understanding.
Children are encouraged to develop their understanding through regular reflection tasks, structured oracy activities and collaborative discussion. They are given opportunities to articulate their ideas, justify their thinking and respond to the views of others, while their learning is recorded through a variety of methods, including written work, presentations, practical outcomes, drawings, diagrams and photographs.
